OVR is weighted from court design, playing environment, programming and competition, amenities, access and operations, capped capacity, and evidence signals from reviews, local intelligence, trend, and verification confidence. Court count now helps, but it cannot dominate the rating. Franchise locations no longer inherit a top community or programming score from the brand alone; each location needs local proof to climb. The USA list is scoped to paid pickleball-forward facilities; public parks, municipal tennis centers, and private country clubs are intentionally excluded.

Facilities with incomplete sourcing are treated as provisional and capped until court counts, operating status, and attribute details are verified. Upcoming audits should verify court dimensions, surface, lighting, barrier systems, climate control, league volume, DUPR events, hospitality, showers, work areas, member access, recent review patterns, and local player sentiment.
